Sweden’s Club 8, the duo of Karolina Komstedt and Johan Angergård (QRO Interview), is back in May with their eighth album, Above the City. It’s sure to deliver more highly-refined melodies composed of Komstedt’s milky vocals and Angergård’s perfectly-crafted pop alchemy. If “Stop Taking My Time” is indication, the album will feature a more electronic, uptempo vibe, a stark contrast to the duo’s calm lounge sound of the past.
