Somehow, it’s been fifty years of The Stranglers! One of the first punk bands to appear in England (or anywhere), they lasted longer – far longer – than most of their contemporaries. They’ve also mutated & evolved over the decades, from the aggressive punks of their early days to new wave, art-rock, goth, and much more. More recently, they endured the passing of keyboardist Dave Greenfield from COVID-19 in 2020, putting out Dark Matters in his honour last year.
For their own Golden Jubilee, The Stranglers are back out on the road in U.K. & Ireland this month, plus heading to the Continent in October.
