Although New York City’s Electric Zoo started off rocky with Day One on Friday, September 1st, the new Day One (Saturday) was underway with a later start. Ace Aura mixed nostalgia with video game elements at the Continuum. Meanwhile, over at the Landing, Rusko had an upbeat beginning then progressed gradually into the grimy beats. Following him, Jantsen’s performance went well – he had some hip-hop influences mixed into his dubstep set. It was super chill and refreshing. Closing out the main stage, Zedd really put on a show, playing some recognizable tunes such as  “Stay the Night”, “I Want You To Know” and “Beautiful Now”. From there, he switched into some dubstep sounds, so that really got the crowd going.

The weather on Saturday fared better than Sunday. However, Day Two still managed to move forward. The VIP lounge area gave an amazing view during Tiësto’s sunset set. Visuals were good along with the flames and the crowd was massive. His mix overall sent waves from the front to the back. Afterwards, Major Lazer brought the island vibes per usual – it felt like one giant party. marshmello ended the night/weekend on a high note. Everyone seemed to enjoy the set as much as he had fun headlining the Convergence for Electric Zoo.
