Ever since catching them at a drunken New Year’s Eve party (QRO photos – you know, as opposed to the sober ones…), been a big fan of The Dig. "Like Vampire Weekend, but grittier" was an early description, but if anything they’ve gotten better than that in the past few years, with a killer live show (QRO review) and the excellent debut, Electric Toys (QRO review).
Now working on the follow-up, The Dig leak the new "For All Your Sins". Showcasing a sad, melancholy side to the band, it actually comes as no surprise that the piece was featured on Gossip Girl – not just because The Dig are ready to be teen heartthrobs, but Gossip Girl has actually had some great music on it (following in the footsteps of The O.C. – QRO Best Music of The O.C. – and, before that, The Peach Pit on 92010…).
