The Devil Wears Prada had a lot to live up to. If you hadn’t seen any of their live performances in the past, you still might have heard of them as being very progressive, on the forefront of today’s hardcore/American metalcore sound. Their live show at New York’s Best Buy Theater on Tuesday, December 13th was an energetic performance, with movements on stage and in front of the crowd. They played new songs off of this year’s Dead Throne, as well as from past albums, and even came back strong with 
more of their older material.
The opening of the show hailed from the new Dead Throne, which provided the heart of their sound & movements on stage, with the crowd bouncing around with them. However, there was no frail fakeness to The Devil Wears Prada. The audience gave great responses to new & old material alike, with loud cheers from the fans.
