For King + Country: Trailblazers in New Unsung Hero Tour
In 2024, remaining relevant and pushing boundaries in the competitive music industry demands a unique mix of creativity, direction, and adaptability. Four-time Grammy Award-winning duo For King & Country, composed of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, have excelled in this area through ongoing music, films, and stage presence.
Now for their genre-blurring sound and compelling live shows, they have successfully transitioned from the inspirational music scene to mainstream success by challenging music industry norms while pushing their musical talents and abilities.

The band’s latest project, the 31-city ‘Unsung Hero Tour’, began on September 19th at The Ford Center in Evansville, IN and aims to mark another milestone in their creative journey. Fans can look forward to beloved hits as well as new tracks from The Inspired By Soundtrack, which accompanies Unsung Hero.

Unsung Hero was released on April 26th, 2024. The film follows Hellen Smallbone, played by Daisy Betts, and her husband David Smallbone, played by Joel Smallbone. As the couple moves their entire family across the globe from Australia to the United States with nothing less than seven children, suitcases and their passion for music. David and Helen begin to realize the musical abilities their children possess, leading them to be two of the most successful acts in inspirational music: For King & Country and Rebecca St. James.
A new stage set with different levels now accompanies the band as they perform. The stage has vertical movements that can accompany band members and instruments. A new set of theatrical lighting also added an emotional factor through the show.
For King & Country’s set not only captured their new film and music, but they also brought back smashing hits and songs from 2012. You could hear hits such as “Fix My Eyes, It’s Not Over Yet, Priceless”, and “Seasons”.

During their song “Fine Fine Life”, Joel and Luke activated the memorable factor in their audience, by breaking away from the typical stage presence and making their way through the audience to say “G’day.” Instilling memories in young and older audience members. This is nothing new for the band.
This tour exceeded expectations and brought a fun and energetic factor that everyone in the family can enjoy. The tour also revealed a surprise coming this December that you’ll have to wait to see to believe.
As they push boundaries, For King & Country exemplify how innovation combined with authenticity can drive lasting success in a constantly evolving industry. Their broad appeal serves as a strong reminder that music and film, in its purest and authentic form, transcends music labels and genres, connecting with listeners around the globe in all different capacities.
The Unsung Hero Tour is one that is unique, captivating, and timeless for the entire family and is traveling across the country this fall.
