Norman, Oklahoma threw the first annual Norman Music Festival on Saturday, April 26th, and QRO was there! Observe all our photos and highlights:
The indie-rock West Stage opened up with Norman natives Dorian Small & Neighborhood, while the East Stage had it’s own ‘hood in the unique Ghost of Monkhood:

Back at the West Stage, things got crazy with local acts Colourmusic & QRO favorite, Evangelicals:

Things got hard-rockin’ in the Sooner Theatre with Gravity Propulsion System, while Austin’s post-rock Octopus Project rocked everything on the West Stage this side of (and including) the Theremin:

West Stage took center stage when British Sea Power brought their antics across the Atlantic. The alt-rockers manned the t-shirt cannon and climbed the scaffolding, along with headstands and shoulder-riding chicken fights, while Norman icons Chainsaw Kittens reunited to rock their hometown:

And The Polyphonic Spree closed things out on a high note by filling the stage with their enormous chorus of singers and musicians. Whether as the black-jumpsuited Fragile Army or as the white-robed choir, The Spree were large & in charge:
