Ain’t gonna bullshit you. I actually thought Book Club was a real book club from Atlanta, albeit one involved in some musical stuff (whatever that might be). Turns out that Book Club is a modern folk quintet. Go figure.
Here’s three selections from their new album Ghost. Book Club plays it just about as soft and sweet as you’re going to get southern folk, from the melodica to the mellifluous, honey-suckle vocals. Stream the tracks below, hit ’em up on the Facebook and Twitter, and listen to more at Bandcamp.
