On May 6th, The Walkmen front man, Hamilton Leithauser, will release his debut solo album, Black Hours. Collaborators include Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend , Paul Maroon of The Walkmen, Amber Coffman of Dirty Projectors, and more. The first peek at the album is “Alexandra”, a raucous, uptempo lo-fi jam that naturally features Leithauser’s signature strain. It’s a little rougher on the edges than Walkmen material, and an exciting preview of Leithauser’s solo work.
