The National – “Laugh Track” (featuring Phoebe Bridgers)

You already love The National (QRO spotlight on), but you also have to love how they have so many great friends. For “Laugh Track”, their single from the album of the same name (QRO review), they got none other than Pharbz herself, Phoebe Bridgers, for the tragic track. And for the video, the band recruited director/animator Bernard Derriman of Bob’s Burgers (a show that The National already contributed their own turkey-themed song, “Save the Bird”). Plus, they’re coming off being personally recruited by none other than living legend David Letterman for his return to The Late Show to perform.
