New York Public Radio Gala 2023 Recap

Last Tuesday, November 14th, New York Public Radio held its annual fundraiser gala at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. This year’s honoree was The Tow Foundation for their support of WNYC / Gothamist Newsroom, and the host was recently of The Daily Show Roy Wood Jr. There were also special performances by J’Nai Bridges, Brooklyn College Opera Theater & High and Mighty Brass Band (whose hepstepping horn-tooting in the opening reception indicated that the gala proper was about to begin).
