The Live Nation Headquarters is located on 430 West 15th Street, Manhattan, between Ninth and Tenth Avenue. Opened just before COVID, it is almost exactly a block south of Racket (the former Highline Ballroom), and a block-and-a-half away from Hiro Ballroom. It is the New York City headquarters of the Live Nation concert promotion conglomerate, and on its ground level has a stage and bar.
Past the doors and entry desk, turn right to the area of couches, tables, and chairs. Just past them and some pillars/inner walls (with framed posters of famous Live Nation concerts) is the stage floor area, with the stage itself to the left, and the bar on the opposite side of where you turned. The stage itself is no more than a few feet raised above the ground, but Live Nation did not skimp on the lighting or soundsystem. The bar is also an open bar with bartenders.
Suitably classy, if a bit more like the reception area of a hotel than a concert venue (or a corporate headquarters), Live Nation hosts free, invite-only events there, usually showcasing smaller artists on the rise. In addition to the open bar, free pizza is often on offer. The event are usually on the earlier side of the evening, 6:00 PM not 9:00 PM, to get the after-work crowd to stay out for a few hours. If you get invited, even if you don’t know the act, head over to check it out.
