This holiday season is going to be awful, happening over Zoom if it happens at all. So Grant-Lee Phillips has put out his sweet Yuletide EP. Of course it’s a cheery and touching – this is the town troubadour of the town in the snowglobe, Gilmore Girls‘ Stars Hollow. It includes his own “Winterglow”, Nat King Cole’s “Take Me Back To Toyland”, Frank Sinatra’s “An Old-Fashioned Christmas”, and New Year’s staple “Auld Lang Syne”.
