Florence & The Machine came to Leeds’ First Direct Arena on Thursday, November 15th, behind this year’s new High As Hope (QRO review). This tour frontwoman Florence Welch is wearing a series of bohemian creations by Gucci. They are designed by Alessandro Michele, taken from his latest collection for the label.
The stage set design for Florence & the Machine was really beautiful. The set was made up of huge lengths of wood panels creating a very seventies classic orchestra symphony stage design look, except minus the massive orchestra, a great playground and performance area for Welch. She roamed gracefully with her child-like free spirit.
Florence Welch is always awesome to photograph. The lighting crew was fantastic, great security guys and an interesting set up of cameras was placed strategically to create beautiful projections for the audience to see way up at the back.
