Dave Matthews and company blew into St. Louis’ Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre this past Wednesday, July 11th, and set the town on fire. The energy these seven guys bring to the stage every night is what sets them apart from most acts on the road today. Having been touring for over twenty years, adding and sadly losing band mates, this band has evolved into jam sensation that plows full steam ahead into every show they perform.
While only playing one of their new songs on this stop, fans got a healthy dose of classic DMB musical magic. I’ve been a fan for quite a while and have seen them multiple times over the years but I have to say this was one of the best shows I’ve seen to date. Since they are half way through tour season already, you don’t have that many dates left to catch this show, which promises to be different every night. If they are coming anywhere near you, make plans to attend, you won’t be sorry.
