You want synth? Black Bug got synth. The dark Suicide-inflected dance hall punkers use driving, crunching keyboards to make you crazy & use a steady bass/snare attack to get you moving. Pretty simple, pretty effective.

They’ve got upcoming shows in France this October? Where the eff are these mofos from? Sources say Sweden. So this post continues QRO’s long proud tradition of falling head over heels for Swedish bands. What is it about that country? They have musical mojo spilling over the border in every direction.

I visited the country a few years back; had a wonderful interview with Nervous Nellie, where we touched on the glut of Swedish pop/rock/whatever talent. Check it out here, plus a write up of their show with Shout Out Louds.

Stream some Black Bug tracks below — the art at right is the cover of a new 7" that you can find here via the ever amiable Jamborini alumni HoZac Records. Stalk Black Bug at their Facebook & have a wonderful day!
